Facilities Show

It was my first time at the Facilities Show last month. I wasn’t sure what to expect but once I got over the feeling of being at a freshers fair it didn’t disappoint.

It was great to catch up with familiar faces, network and move around the stands. There were three lecture theatres to choose from with great guest speakers, including Ruby Wax OBE and Sir Clive Woodward OBE.

There’s a long standing joke that buildings are fine until you put people in them; a lot of this event focused on how we can look after people and how they use and experience spaces. 

What are the reasons behind your workplace and facilities strategy? Just because you can do something, doesn’t mean you should.  So if the reasons aren’t your people, start again…

I’m looking forward to next year’s event already!
